Mountains We Have Climbed

Mount Bell- this was a mountain we climbed with the school
during November. We almost made it too the top
but the last part was a little too sketchy for a big group
to climb. Bummer. But it was a good fist winter climb.

Mount Borah! We did this in September! First time climbing
the tallest mountain in Idaho! It was way fun.

The Grand Teton, we climbed this the end of September.
I'm glad I have Tyler to keep me going even when I freaked out.
Maybe I will do better this summer.

Our next mountain we are going to climb......
Mount Rainier! A little higher than 14,000 ft.
Our tallest mountain yet.
Next Christmas- Orizaba, in Mexico....18,000 FEET!!!! AHHHH

Birthday, Cooking, and Sickness

Tyler's 25th Birthday! February 6th. Do you love his cake!
He is getting so old!

He is so excited to be one year older and wiser too!

Tyler was sick with a sinus infection and he wanted soup.
Being the good wife I am I make him an AMAZING soup!
The bad thing was I had been feeling sick as well, so I took
some Nyquil, the first time I have ever taken it.
The soup still had a little bit of time it needed to cook, so I decided
to go lay down with tyler for 10 minutes. 45 minutes later I woke to a
burnt smell and a smoke filled apartment! AHHHH! We ate it anyway.
Tyler, was totally out of it and just said it was disgusting. I didn't
even try to explain what had happened til the next morning.

It got down to -15 or -20 and he took maybe 2 pictures after this
one because his hands were so cold! I am kind of glad I
didn't go.

New Years Campout

Our home, the Quincy! Tyler and Joe finished at 1:30
in the morning. It was nice and toasty!!

Tyler ice climbing, this is the first water fall that
you come to when your are going up the Teton Canyon trail.

First time Ice climbing!! We'll just say my arms were really tired.

Update of my married life.

The Logan Temple where Tyler and I were married, on the only sunny day in the whole month of june. June 19th, 2009

At the reception in Rupert, Tyler's brothers and mine ganged up on Tyler out of nowhere, tackled him and with a nasty fight, including a kick to the face they got it in his ankle. You can tell my mom and I have no idea what is going on. I really didn't realize what was happening until the very end.

Tyler put up his slackline. It made for great entertainment. We only had a few people get hurt in attempting to walk across it.

Mom Turned 50!! Like the cake. I did!!

First Post!

So this is my first blog. I'm so excited for this, it's taken me forever. Jessica was kind enough to help me start it. so I just put what has been happening lately. This first picture is of the Middle Teton that Tyler and his friend climbed last week.Here is my amazing husband Tyler!!

And no that is not my son. This is my new nephew Jack Tyler Poole. He is the sweetest little boy!
