Around The House

The Last 2 months have been very eventful adjusting to 2 kids.
I am constantly watching to make sure Talon doesn't squish Kai oh throw too many of his toys on him.
He loves getting in his bassinet with him and "sleeping."

Kai taking his first bath.  He loved it!

Attempting to potty train.  If anyone has any tips on this subject, please share.

Hanging out on a rainy day.

I thought this was a pretty impressive tower of spices.

Talon loves going on wagon rides, we go everywhere in it.  It is the perfect set up because Kai can lay down and sleep.

Tyler's way of taking Talon for a ride in his car.  He loves it Because he goes "crazy."

We had many visitors after Kai was born.  Here are the boys with their Aunt Lindsey.

Talon holding Kai.

My friend  Caitlin came down from Twin Falls to visit for a day with her 2 girls.
Kalli and Talon are 2 months apart. They had fun playing in the teepee and car.

I love this little girls cheeks!!!

We were taking photos of Kai and of course Talon wanted to be in them.

A not so happy boy in the morning.  If looks could kill.

Talon trying to feed Kai milk

Some more of Talon playing with his baby chickens.

And torturing them.

Talon loved taking these pictures.  If we moved Kai he would freak out, "No put Kai right there"

Kai with his Great Great Grandma Fowler.  It was so special to see her holding him.

Kai and his second cousin Bentley, they are a week apart, it's going to be so much fun having these 2 so close in age!

The grandboys:  Jack, Isaac, Bentley, Kai, and Talon

Bath time with his cousins

Talon is finally loving his stridor and is getting so good at riding it!

Talons new lion towel.  He sat in front of the mirror forever doing this,  and going "rour, rour, I'm a lion!"

And yes he still loves playing in the chicken coop.

Kai enjoying a few minutes of peace in the swing while Talon is in the coop.

Newborn Photoshoot Gone Wrong

Everytime I look at this picture I bust up laughing.
It looks like the poor kid is being tortured, which he is.
I had this grand idea to take some newborn pictures on Talon's Tonka Truck and
it went all wrong.  I am not an expert at setting the scene for taking pictures, I stressed him out so he peed, was falling off and bawling.  Oh it makes me laugh.
So much for trying to be cheap and doing pictures myself.

Talon

Here are some pictures of what Talon did the last few weeks as the only child.
He finally got to drive one of the fire trucks Dad rides on, he loved it didn't want to leave.  Every time we pass the road it was parked on he asks for the fire truck.

Driving Dad around in the fire truck, He told him "Dad, sit right there."

Talon playing with the chickens in the back yard.  He liked putting them in the teepee and sitting in there with them.

Talon gets a little excited when he catches the chickens luckily they handle the squeezing pretty well.

A very serious egg hunter.

This is what Talon looks like with a basket on his head.

Hunting eggs at Grandmas, we had all of Tyler's family helping him.

My Favorite picture.
Daddy's little boy.  He loves his Dad and wants to do everything with him.

Newborn Pictures

I took some newborn pictures of Kai, they turned out pretty good.
He is so cute!!!

I put Talon in the bathtub to play so I could take the pictures, but that didn't stop him from anything.
I am glad he got out because I was able to get this sweet picture of them.

The rest of the photo shoot I had to dodge Talon playing with his trucks on the bed.

He may look like he is playing nice but he is really about to squish him.
