New Year's in SLC

For New Year's we went down to Salt Lake and met up with my family.  They were doing a whole bunch of thing in the city that you could do and it was really fun.
Here is Jack and Talon with Grandpa celebrating the New Year on the train watching the fireworks!

The had a room full of bounce houses at the Salt Palace that the kids played on and LOVED.

"ya that trip down that last slide was crazy, hold it in, don't throw up!"

We went to a Japanese drumming show which was really cool.  Kai Loved it and got so excited when the music would start.

And yes, Kai stayed up for his first New Year, At 2 am he decided it was time to go to bed.

The next day we left the kids with my parents and took Tyler and Talia Ice Climbing.  It was fun going with them.  They had never done it before and liked it a lot.
Here is my brother Tyler climbing, and Tyler my hubby belaying.

Looking down to see how far he's made it! ha, Keep going!

Talia showing off her skills climbing in her boots from American Eagle.  Good thing the ice was stepped out.

 Tyler setting up the climb

Watch out! Wild Axe Women!! WAW!

I try to always look my sexiest while belaying, you never know when someone from Rock and Ice magazine might show up.

 Me Climbing.

Island Park

For part of our Christmas present from Tyler's parents they rented a cabin in Island park for three days. We didn't get too many pictures cuz we were too busy playing. It was soo much fun to be up there with everyone.  Talon was spoiled being there with all his uncles.
One of the days, Tyler, Taya, Mark and I drove to Bozeman and went ice climbing in Hyalite Canyon.  It was really fun to get out.
Talons favorite thing to do besides riding the snowmobiles.
Kai loved exploring the cabin.  He crawled everywhere as fast as he could.

Talon getting ready to go snowmobiling.  That's all he wanted to do.  He would get so excited when he heard them outside.  He would say "mom, its snowmobiles, we should go ride them!"

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning was at our house this year.   The boys had a late night playing with all there Uncles and Aunt at G&G Wheeler's house so they slept in pretty late.  My parents came up that morning to watch the kids open there presents.

It took awhile to open all the presents because Talon had to play with each one after he opened it.

Trying out the new sled from santa in our snowless yard.

Kai was not sure about driving the sled.

Talon wouldn't ride the sled without a helmet.

Talon woke up and came out and sat on the sled for awhile looking around not saying anything.  He finally woke up and realized santa came and brought him presents!
