The Mighty Snow Family

We went to Pocatello for the weekend and my parents got dumped on with snow. It was Awesome! So nice to actually have snow and have it feel like winter. And it was the Perfect snow to build a snowman! I was like a little kid!
This is Talon looking at the snowman that is supposed to represent him.
It was going to be one normal sized snowman but Tyler wanted them moved to the middle of the yard and the ball got huge! And the one we rolled to put on top of it was too big so we made 2. than we made Talon.
Our Family
You can see that they were pretty big. The thing coming out of my snowman's head is supposed to a little hair thin, just in case you were wondering.

The Igloo and 3rd new years freeze out

Tyler had the Monday off after new years and wanted to build an igloo with our friend's igloo maker. Jake came with us and helped Tyler while I took care of Talon.
Talon didn't last very long on the blanket. He hates his snow suit because it immobilizes him.

The Igloo! It's cool how you can see the individual blocks. They had a lot of fun making it. It's pretty roomy inside.
Tyler and I had our New Year's winter camp out in it the next weekend and we decided to take Talon along. He didn't know what to think of being inside a big ice cube, plus he was in his much hated snow suit and couldn't move around. Once he fell asleep he was fine. I recommend waiting til the baby can sleep through the night and can walk before you go winter camping.
We had fun watching Shrek and sipping hot chocolate.

Christmas Quilt

Tyler wanted to make his parent's a Christmas quilt our of all his mom's Christmas fabric. This is my second quilt I have ever done. I think it turned out a lot better than I thought. I have to say thank you to Tyler for helping me figure out how to the trees since I couldn't figure out the directions on the pattern. Tyler also sew some too! Tyler's parents loved it also which made me happy. I did actually enjoy sewing it and would sometime like to sew another one.

This Makes Me Happy

The Chariot

We finally got the chariot we have been saving up for and Talon Loves it!! Not only is it great for him to ride in But it is a great toy! When he is fussy I put him in it and he just plays in it and he plays with the tires and all the little stuff.
The best thing is that it has been so warm I have been able to use it! We are both very happy about that because it gets us out of the house!

Grandma Mamie

Talon and his Great Grandma Mamie. It was so great to see her.

Christmas

Our first Christmas as a trio! We went up to Wallowa Oregon to Grandma Mamie's house she was so happy to see him!
Talon really didn't like the Santa hat at all but he looked so cute in it.
The beginning of the tired christmas mornings. Talon woke up 2 hours before everyone else did.
6:00 bright and early opening his stocking and playing with his new toys.
Talon didn't last long with opening presents. Looks like he really was focusing on this one.
He was way more interested in bows. He took off the bows he could get to.

He got a little tired towards the end, Uncle Jaren put him in his pillow case and I don't think he liked it.
After a nap he was back to playing not with any of his new toys but the stool.

Some Random pics of Christmas
Talon's feet as a Christmas Tree

Our family picture for our Christmas cards we never sent out.
At the Poole's we made some christmas treats. Talon got a hold of a beater and loved it!

9 Months

I found a chair at Tyler's grandma's and thought- perfect!
I love how the pictures turned out and Talon loved sitting in it!
Talon is still small. He is barely growing out of his 3-6 months clothes.
He is finally getting hair and he got his 2 front teeth for Christmas.
He has discovered how to make a fake laugh by inhaling and he does it all the time than gives a big smile afterwards because he thinks its so funny.
He has also discovered rhythm and loves dancing, well bouncing to music. He holds his hands together by the thumb and pointer finger and swings them up and down as he bounces.
He also bites really hard. Biting is his way of telling me he is hungry, angry or tired. It really hurts.
My Favorite Picture! It says it all.
