Tyler's Elk

I don't have pictures of his actual elk because he forgot to take pictures so I
will post those later. Tyler and Dave Heninger shot the elk together and than my
dad got one too!! This is Tyler's very first elk!! Sorry if the pic is grose but I think it's funny.
Another nasty pic of tyler cutting the meat off.
The finished product. We got lots of meat!

My Growing Belly

3 months, I think! ha Not sure when we took this.

18 weeks! this was right before we found out what we are having.
We are having a boy!!!! yay! I will post some ultrasound pics when I find my CD.

Sorry the picture is not right. I tried rotating it and loading it about
six times but it kept coming out like this.
Anyways, this is at 24 weeks. This is what I look like right now!!!
I have a bump. I can also feel the baby moving all the time so it has been
really fun!

YYYYYUUUUCCCCKKK!!!

You are probably asking yourself "what the heck are those?"
If you guessed cinnamon rolls, your correct. Really really bad cinnamon rolls.
I need lots of practice. Tyler's dad was over and he claimed he liked them so we sent most of them home with him while we made fun of my amazing cooking and threw the rest away.

Random Catch Up Time

For Halloween we carved a pumpkin. It is supposed to be a spider.
I was a little worried about it at first but it turned out really good.

Our New Edition!!! Tyler's Parents bought us a piano for Tyler's
graduation present. Big Big thankyou to them! We have loved having it
and Tyler is has learned a song on it already for christmas called Still Still Still.
I am so proud of him. We are going to play it together in church next sunday, me on the violin. YAY! Pray for us!

Another new edition! Tyler bought a road bike! Tyler has been riding it
to work til it snowed and the roads got icy than I made him drive. Next summer we are going to do the 3 summit challenge again which they have upped to four summits. Tyler signed me up for it. I might not live through it.

Tyler's innovative way of trimming our maple Tree. He rigged up his climbing
rope and harness to the tree and chopped cut the huge limbs. It worked really well.
I think we scared some of the neighbors though. It was entertainining.

BIG NEWS!!!

Yes, That's right! We are going to be parents!
A little scary, I know but exciting!!

We told my mom and dad when we were having my birthday dinner.
I each gave them a present with the onesies in them! Dad at first thought it was underwear.
Their expressions were priceless when they realized what they were and what they said on them! It made dad so excited he couldn't look at the camera stright! ha, he went cross-eyed with excitement!

We did the same thing for Tyler's parents but we left the presents at their house and left (Tyler suffested it, I think he was a little nervous).
Tyler called and said we left the presents for them, a few minutes later I got a call from a Very excited Diana. This will be there first grandkid!!!
It's due March 21, 2011. We will be able to find out what it is on the last week of October!

Our Bathroom!

Since we have been working on the house we have redone Tyler has redone the plumbing,
fresh water lines, And the Bathroom and we are still working on the electrical. I can't do much so I just follow tyler around with a much that looks like a marshmallow trying to eat me. My job is talking to him, handing him tools, cleaning up and a little painting.
Tyler figured out everything himself! This is the last of the plumbing!

Here is our bathroom before, this is the reason why we decided to remodel it becuase around
the toilet there was a leak and it ruined the floor! We pulled this stuff up and the wood was all rotted! It was worse than we though.

The Rest of the bathroom. When we tore around the bathtub we disocovered they did a crappy
caulking job and the sheetrock behind is was also rotting really bad. EWWWW!

This was one of our temporary bathrooms. Always interesting to see how nasty it was.
We lived in Tyler's parents trailor that we parked by are house and got to use the bathroom in it which was a better but we still had to use the outhouse so the tank in the trailor wouldn't overfill. We shower and eat dinner and Tyler's parents house. We owe them a huge thanks!

Tyler working on the tile! We are getting closer!

The Grout job around the tub!

Our new sink and light fixture (we found at a garage sale for $20. yay!)

Drum Roll!!!! THE FINISHED BATHROOM!
I get to sleep and and go the bathroom in my own home!!!
All we have left is trim and electricity! yay!

Cascade Three Summit Challenge

When Tyler started working for his company a co-worker who road biked told volunteered
Tyler to ride in a race that the company was sponsoring. They had 10 people ride for the company. It was a hard ride- 65 miles with 3 summits, one was a 10% grade.
Tyler before the ride!

The beginning of the race.

Tyler Riding up the last summit! Looks a little tired!
The ride wasn't too hard for him though I guess because now he wants to
buy a bike and train for the LOTOJA!!!!

Mount Rainier

Tyler got to climb Mount Rainier during the 4th of July with his climbing buddy Jo Crane.
This is him celebrating on the top of the mountain. He had perfect weather on the
day they summited and had an awesome time. Now he wants to climb a bigger mountain.
This is Camp Muir, where Tyler camped. Looks a little steep.

This is one of the many huge glaciers on the mountain. I like this
picture because it shows the layers.

Looks like the clouds are part of the mountain. Careful, don't step off
into thin air!

The Trail going up the mountain at sunset.
They made it off the mountain safely until the car ride home. Barely out of the
park they ran out of gas and had to hitch hike to a gas station and back to the car.
Good ending to a fun hike.

Our New Home

Tyler and I bought a home at the end of June. It is a cute
little white house in town. 2 bedrooms one bath and "not
much of a backyard," according to Carter, but we have a really
cool secret passageway that Carter got to see.
The House has taken up a lot of the summer because we are doing some work on it.
It's finally getting close to being done. So I will post some pictures!

ROAD TRIP!

FIRST STOP: FORT'S HOME
It was sooo fun to see Jess and Britton's new Home and them!
They took us biking, drove us around mexi Pasco and took us
to some of there favorite parks. When we were at their house the kids
Liked tyler to spin them in circles and beat up on him! I think
I finally found someone who can wear that kid out!
It rained the last morning we were there so Carter couldn't ride
his bike for us! I was so sad. but we got to play in the park. Kambree showed
us all around her castle.

Carter showed off his strength on the monkey bars!
He also demonstrated his obstacle course for us.

At one point we couldn't find Kambree anyway when Jessica spotted

her walking to the car alone. Apparently she was cold and sick of the rain.

Next we were off to Seattle, it took us a while to get there because we kept finding
awesome places along the way! This was an old train station and by it there was
a B&B where you could stay in Cabooses!!
We found a sweet place to camp along the way! Don't
worry, nobody uses this road.

This is the Snoquamlie Tunnel, it's 2 1/2 Miles long!!

We walked halfway before we finally turned back.

We found a place called deception crags and rock climbed and discovered

found out where it got the name...some routes are a lot harder than they look.

We rode are bikes on a trail we found out after that we weren't supposed to down to
some beautiful waterfalls! And the trail makes an awesome bike trail, don't know why
they only let hikers on it. :)

Lower part of the falls we saw called Twin Falls. We also stopped at Snoqualmie Falls

which were really cool too.

We stopped in Seattle and wenton top of the Space Needle. Seattle was fun til we had to

leave. it was ten o'clock at night and I couldn't read the map to get us out and on the highway.

We spent the night on Whidbey island. Are campsite was beautiful and it was

only a couple hundred yards from the beach.

The next day we took a ferry to the Olympic National Forest.
And yes Lindsey we went through Port Angeles and we were an hour

away from Vampire Ville! I tried to get tyler to take me threre but
I couldn't convince him.

Anyways we hiked into some hot springs (got there after 10 p.m.) it was a
beautfiul forest and Awesome hot springs!

Last Stop! Visiting Carmen in Vancouver! She took us everywhere! this is a park by her house.

This is Shannon Falls! Canada had Amazing waterfalls!

Vancouver!!! This city is HUGE!
Carmen's mom was afraid we weren't going to be able to cross the border
because are car was so dirty so she came out in her red robe and sprayed are car off.
Her parents were so fun!

On the way home we went through Hope. Their claim to fame: Rambo was filmed there.
Doesn't Tyler make an awesome Rambo!

Last Stop: Grand Coulee Dam! It was Huge! It is a Mile Long!
After this we drove to Cour d' lene, that night we threw out the sleeping bags on a service road on the side of the highway. We stopped at a church we side right of the highway and it was a
little Branch and everyone was so friendly and nice and they all wanted us to move up and
join the branch. it was a little overwhelming.
We are home and alive! At least until the next adventure!
