This is Joy

Talon is starting to play with Kai more and more.  I love it when they make each other laugh, it is the best moments I have that make me so happy to be a mom.  I feel so much joy watching my two boys grow, learn, and play everyday.  I am so grateful I have been blessed with them.

Summer

Summer went by way too fast!! But it didn't go by without lots of playing and camping.

For a couple weeks this was Talons best friend was Banana Man or as he likes to call him "Nana Ban."  He loved wrestling him, throwing him off the bed, he even came to the store with us.

But his favorite thing to do with him was give him piggy back rides.

Kai is starting to like his bouncer.  This was his first time in it, you can tell he wasn't too sure about it.

We had a couple friends come over for dinner one sunday.  It was so fun watching all the kids playing together and torturing each other.  The wagon was a hit and they went on lots of rides.

Talon especially tortured this girl.  One time they were sitting in the canoe together and Talon was poking her in the back saying "doy doy doy" and she yells " I hate boys!!"  It was classic.  By the end he would come near her and she'd start yelling.

We also put new gravel in our driveway, it's really made our house look better.  Talon loved in because it came in Grandpa's dump truck, and he got to play in it.

We enjoyed lots of summer nights eating dinner outside.

One of Talon's new favorite toys, an airplane. Him and Tyler like to fly it in the front yard and it's the coolest toy in the neighborhood.

Kai discoving his tongue.

Fourth of July we spent in Rupert.  We of course went to the parade.

This was one of the best, an old steam engine tractor.

We had a Wade reunion where we shot rockets in the morning and played in the water the rest of the day. Talon really liked the slip and slide, he would run and jump all the way down it.

 And chasing bubbles!!!

Carrots from our garden.  Talon was soo excited for them.  He had Tyler wash  all of them and he ate them.
He is also holding an egg.  He kept talking about the "eggs, carrots, in the sky, carrots blue...."

We have had many times where he has fallen asleep with fruit snacks on his face.
`

Enjoying the fresh rasberry jam.

Tyler took Talon to mutual one night and they were doing a service project at the fairgrounds.  Talon was running on the gravel and tripped and fell right on his eye.  This is  it looking good.  It was almost swollen shut when he came home.
More pictures of Kai enjoying the grass.

Talon trying a cucumber.  Do you think he likes it?

Talon has loved playing with his dump truck in the garden.  He was a lot of help.
He would put the weeds in it and drive it over and dump it in the garbage.

There was a lot of crying too.  haha but that's ok.  It's the terrible two's!!

5 Months

It's been a busy busy summer and Kai is growing sooo fast.
I missed putting his he is now15.5 pounds and 25 inches long.
He is now rolling over and sitting up and talking saying "dadada," which Tyler really likes.
Our little Kai is still slobbering like crazy.
He is the happiest little baby, always smiling and laughing.

Kai has his Dad's blue eyes!  I love them!
His new trick is putting his toes in his toes in his mouth and sucking on them.
He is such a sweet boy and always brings a smile to everyone around him and he smiles right back.
