Wheeler Baby #2

Yes baby number 2 is coming March 27th, 2013!!!

The gender of this one is going to be a surprise so your just going to have to wait to get that question answered.

Here I am at 20 weeks, I am pretty sure I am twice as big with this one than with the first.  And as you can tell taking belly photos is a little awkward for me, I feel like a dork and I never know how to make myself look good.

Talon really has no idea what is going on, maybe he will once I get huge.

This pregnancy has been an easy one for sure, I was only sick for August and super tired sleeping all the time for 2 months, I just hope the baby is just as easy.

Happy Halloween

Can you guess who Talon was for Halloween?

BAMM BAMM!!

We had to bribe him with candy to get it on, he really didn't like his shoulder strap.

But he ended up really liking his Bamm Bamm Stick and used it on Tyler.

This was at the Ward Party, for some reason Talon really liked this spot and would freak out whenever we would try and move him.

Grandma Poole came up and went to the fire station and trick or treating with us.  He was so silly, he would talk and talk til he got the door opened than freeze, slowly take a piece of candy and wouldn't say anything until the door shut.  He was so good at saying "trick-or-treat" too!

He even got to hit a pinata which he wasn't too thrilled about.

Learning To Pray

Talon has started learning to pray the last couple of weeks.  It is so precious to watch him fold his arms and babble his sweet prayer.  The other day at breakfast he would stop and eat every few minutes to pray, his food I am sure tasted amazing because it was prayed over so many times.

Talon's Time Out

Just kidding, but I think Talon wishes it was.

He figured  out how to climb the ladder up to the second level and spent close to an hour going up and down and through the door and peeping out the window.  I spent forever trying to convince him to come to the opening in the roof to get him out.   He was pretty happy and content pretending to be a chicken.

This is another favorite place to play for Talon.  We put the chickens grain in this bucket. Talon loves to sit in it because he fits just right then he throws all the grain out which he thinks is pretty hilarious.

Wade Lake

After Jaren's wedding we headed up to Wade Lake for our annual camping trip with my family.  It was a long drive but took a break and stayed the night at my parents because of bad weather.  The next day was beautiful when we arrived at the lake.  My parents, the Adamsons and my Grandma and Grandpa Poole were all there.  It was worth the drive especially for Talon who loved the canoe!

One time Grandpa Poole took him out in the canoe and every time he would come to shore and Talon would realize they weren't floating he'd freak out and start whining and crying until he saw water underneath him and knew they were floating, it was great entertainment.

Here is Mckenna, Ally and Megan after Tyler and I swamped their canoe.  They were clueless when we came up right along side them and tipped them.  After swamping them Tyler was determined to get me in the water which he eventually did after chasing these three all over the lake, 2 ended up jumping out and Macky jumped to our canoe, Tyler jumped into theirs and swamped ours.  Haha, tricky tricky.

The next day after the third time swamping their canoe.  You'd think they'd learn.

Tyler and I also saw a Bald Eagle on our morning canoe ride to the cove.  I saw something swimming to shore and thought it was an otter but it was an Eagle!!!   I had no idea Eagles could swim, this one could and it brought in a huge sucker fish.

Talon playing in the cold lake water before we left for home.
He makes everything so much more fun and interesting.
We love him soo much!

Weddings

We had two weddings in the last month.  Lindsey got married August 11th, to Emilio Rodriguez.
It was a beautiful hot day for a wedding.

Jack didn't know what to think, he kept his hands in his pockets the whole time and kept this same look.

 All five grandkids playing around.
 Grandpa with the two grandkids.
 Trying to get a picture.

Talon must have gotten embarrassed about something he saw!

The happy couple headed out on the honeymoon.

The second wedding was Tyler's younger brother, Jaren.  He married Carrie Campbell, another girl from Pocatello has joined the family!

Talon was sick of weddings! He was not loving seeing the Temple.

Weddings are so much torture!

REST OF THE SUMMER

The rest of our summer was a whirlwind but we enjoyed the warm weather and the bountiful harvest.
Talon especially loved the corn, that's all he ate all of august.

He still plays in the chicken coop, the birds wonder why he is in their cage.

Talon loves driving Grandma and Grandpa Wheeler's four wheeler thing.

 And the Jeep.

Talon's getting crazier and crazier, he is all boy.
He has also learned to pick his nose and thinks it's really funny.

Tyler taught Talon how to fish, they caught a shoe.

 He LOVES his trucks!
A family picture at Ross Park!

In the middle of July I did a triathlon with caitlin, Ryan, Lisa and her cousins.  It was really fun and I got to try out my birthday present- A Wet Suit!

Also in July Talon's cousins came down from Washington to go to Green Canyon.  We went and visited Eggiman's barn, they had so much fun.

And we had a great water fight started by Kambree wanted to get Tyler wet, it ended with us all getting drenched and sprinklers underneath the tramp.
Tyler got wiped out from it and fell asleep so Kambree and Carter stuck bugs on his face, they thought it was pretty funny.

Talon is still loving his couch.

And here is to the end of Summer.

Martin's Cove

Our Stake on a trek to Martin's Cove in July  and we got called to be a Ma and Pa three weeks before because a couple couldn't go anymore.  I was a little nervous to spend a whole week being in charge of teenagers.  I have known a lot of people who have been to  Martin's Cove and have loved the experience so I was excited for that part. It was a fun challenging and growing experience.
Here are the girls in our group, I am in the middle.  Tyler and I kept getting mistakened for youth.  We almost got in trouble for holding hands!

A couple boys thought it was cool to make sweat marks with the water bottle, It was pretty entertaining.

Most of the boys in our group except for one.

Our group got sick of pulling the cart so they roped another leader and he became our ox.

Tyler the Pa.

We walked 25 miles altogther, 14 of them in one day.  For Tyler and I it wasn't hard. I cannot imagine walking that 14 miles in the circumstances the saints had with no food and zero degree temperatures.  You could feel the spirit so strong in the cove, over Rocky Ridge and many other parts of the trail.  I am so grateful for the early saints and for their faith and fortitude.
