Ice Climbing!!!

Tyler and I were able to go ice climbing in Twin on Saturday. We dropped Talon off at Grandma's, met up with a new climbing buddy and headed out. It was a Much needed day out doing what we love together.
This is what we had to hike through to get to the ice- about six feet of tumble weeds. I am pretty sure all the tumble weeds in Twin fall right here. Luckily I was behind the 2 guys and lighter than both that I just walked across while they both struggled.
On Tyler's first climb a chunk of ice fell and hit his face when he put his ice axe in. He looked down at us and he was a bloody mess. No stitches though soo Climb on!
This is right after it happened while he was on the ice.
Tyler on the first climb. Both guys led a route and I of course top roped both. Pretty hard ice climb.
Me struggling up the route.
This is the top of the last climb getting ready to head out. The climb out was sketchy. I feared for my life but I can say I free climbed out of the Twin Falls Canyon. Ha it wasn't bad, probably 5.5 but with packs and lots of exposure. I think we will hike in and out next time.
thank you ice for the amazing day.

Keepin Warm and Eatin Popcorn

We found a new way for Talon to keep warm this winter. He loves it! We went to Rupert square to look at the lights and he was happy ad content. And I think it looks hilarious!
That same night we popped popcorn and watched a movie. We discovered Talon LOVES popcorn. He chopped away at it like he had all his teeth, when we got to the bottom he dug both his in the bowl and threw it everywhere.

Oh Christmas Tree

We found the perfect spot in our house to put our Christmas tree- up high where Talon can't get to it. The top is a little squished but it works.
Talon was so excited about it that we couldn't keep him still to put his diaper or clothes on! So he danced naked to the chipmunk song under the Christmas tree- every little boys dream.
Talon fell fast asleep staring at the lights of the Christmas Tree.

Discovery

Now that talon is crawling he is exploring everything.

And chewing on every new thing he finds.

Wood Laugh

This is Talon Laughing at the wood being chopped.

Thanksgiving

This is how it was all thanksgiving because we had so many people around. Do Not Crush the babies!
The Forts came down and spent Thanksgiving with us so we had the whole family there. The kids all had so much fun playing together. This is Talon trying to get into Kambree's early Christmas Present.
We went to the light parade. The kids got so much candy! This is them sorting it out and exchanging, Talon was content with his Cutie and watching the crazy sugar high kids.
This is kids hanging out with grandpa. Carter and Kambree could sure make Talon laugh hard.
I love this picture of Talon, I am sure he has spotted Maely's hair and is getting ready to go over and pull on it, he was obsessed with her hair, probably because he hardly has any.
Talon Loved Maely, just looking at her made him smile and giggle it was so cute watching these two together!
He got a hold of the hair!! She is not happy. Talon better watch out Because she is as big has he is and three months younger so when she because more mobile he will have no advantage.
All the boys had a wood splitting contest where they lined up the wood to see how many they could split in one swat. I brought Talon out to watch and he laughed every time they would chop the wood. It was so cute, he would even laugh when Carter pretended to chop wood.
We made pumpkin cupcakes and the kids helped decorate and this was their creation.
I don't have pictures of the actual Thanksgiving feast. But we had the Wade side all come down and had a wonderful feast and a successful Amazing Race game with singing, painting nails, finding food and Rock climbing. It was a Blast. I love my Family they are soooo much fun!

8 Months

So these pictures didn't turn out great because he is always on the go,
I guess they show his true personality!

Yes, I know my sign is upside down.
Talon is still a little one at 14.5 pounds but he is growing.
