The Sunday before he was born!
My belly button poked out so far!

Tyler trying to see how I felt. He strapped my
leg pump things that prevent clots. He liked them. Ha!
He tried to look miserable like me for the pic though.

First time I got to hold Talon.

Proud Daddy!

Bringing him home! Where is he!
Yep, he really is in there. He is the little bump in the middle.

The make-shift hospital bed.

More fun pictures of my little boy.

The Story
Well nothing went as I had hoped. I had a doctors appointment
and I told him that I thought I had been leeking fluid so they checked the
fluid around the baby and there wasn't enough so they induced me.
After 5 hours and only dilating from a 3+ to 5 I had had enough. It hurt.
The nurse came in and said "I think I turned your putossin up a little high
your contractions are really close and hard." So she cut it in half.
I was getting very discouraged and Very tired so I broke down and got an epidural. It was amazing. But after I had the Epidural the baby's heart rate went
down and they were going to do an emergency c-section. But he pulled through. then I was stuck at a 7 for 2 1/2 hours and said if I hadn't dilated in 45 mnutes
they were going to do a C-section. Luckily I dilated. We had to keep careful watch on his heart rate cuz it kept going down, but it always came back up. finally it was time to push. The baby was not handling it well at all and it was stuck in my "dinky pelvis." So I ended up getting a C section anyways. I bawled. I mean, after 12 hours of labor and being so close to the end. ya. but Everything was fine once I
heard the baby cry! It is the most amazing sound I have ever heard! And seeing his perfect little body and knowing he was ok made everything great. He is my little blessing from Heavenly Father.
Now that everything is over, we look back and find some humor in the little things
that happened. Tyler loves to tell them. like me being all tough and not wanting an epidural than yelling because the guy couldn't get there fast enough.
Tyler and I love being parents. Talon is amazing!
